Shaboozey’s ‘Red Dead IRL’ Caption Reminds Everyone His Life Looks Like a Video Game

Shaboozey's 'Red Dead IRL' Caption Reminds Everyone His Life Looks Like a Video Game

Instagram/@shaboozey

Shaboozey posted a photo on Instagram today. The caption felt perfectly on-brand: “Red Dead IRL.”

Two words. And honestly? That’s all he needed.

“Red Dead” is a nod to Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar Games’ iconic western franchise. Red Dead Redemption 2, released in 2018, is still considered one of the greatest video games ever made. Players love it for its sweeping frontier landscapes, dusty towns, and cinematic golden-hour lighting. The visuals are incredibly detailed and lifelike. Fans regularly compare in-game screenshots to real photographs. Eight years later, people still talk about it constantly.

Red Dead Redemption 2 also crossed over to audiences well beyond the typical gaming crowd. Its story, its visual style, and its world-building made it feel more like a prestige film experience than a video game. A reference to it lands with a wide audience – not just dedicated gamers.

For Shaboozey, the comparison is a natural one.

The Virginia-raised musician has spent his career building an image rooted in cowboy culture and frontier style. His whole look already made the case. Wide-brimmed hats. Dusty, worn-in fits. An outlaw energy that feels authentic rather than put together by a stylist.

His 2024 breakout hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” introduced all of that to a massive new audience. The track blended country twang with hip-hop confidence. It felt fresh and genuinely cool. It spent a record-setting run at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. People showed up for the song and stayed for the whole package – the sound, the look, the vibe. It all clicked.

Shaboozey is one of the few artists comfortable in both the country world and hip-hop. That range is a big reason the “Red Dead IRL” reference works so well for him. The game has a fanbase across age groups and music tastes, much like the artist himself.

Red Dead fans are notoriously passionate. The franchise has one of the most dedicated communities in gaming. They love the games’ landscapes, lighting, and almost obsessive attention to detail. Rockstar built those worlds to feel real in a way most games don’t. Calling real life “Red Dead IRL” is a genuinely fun moment for followers of both the artist and the franchise.

Gaming culture and music culture have been overlapping more and more. Artists with genuine gaming knowledge tend to connect with gaming communities in a real way. This caption has that energy.

Shaboozey is still riding high heading into fall 2026. He’s maintained his momentum with strong festival appearances and continued chart presence. The cowboy-meets-hip-hop lane he carved out remains uniquely his. Posts like this make sure nobody forgets it.

Two words and a photo. For Shaboozey, that’s enough.

‘Unfinished Business’ Teased as The Terminal List Season 2 Confirms October 21

'Unfinished Business' Teased as The Terminal List Season 2 Confirms October 21

Instagram/@terminallistpv

The Terminal List Season 2 has an official premiere date. The show’s Instagram account confirmed this week that the action thriller returns on October 21, 2026. The caption hinted at unfinished story threads without elaborating.

Chris Pratt stars as James Reece, a former Navy SEAL. In Season 1, Reece’s entire team is killed in a covert operation gone wrong. He goes after the people responsible. The show debuted on Prime Video in 2022 and is widely regarded as one of Prime Video’s biggest hits of that year. It pulled viewers into the story fast – the kind of series that brings the action right into your living room.

The show carries a reputation for gritty military drama, and Reece is exactly the character at the center of it. Action fans responded in a big way. They’ve been waiting ever since.

Season 1 left plenty of loose ends. Corruption, betrayal, and personal loss drove the whole series forward. Reece was still standing at the end, but the story wasn’t finished. The “Unfinished business” tease signals that Season 2 picks up the story. Those threads were never fully resolved.

The official announcement was intentionally short. “Unfinished business. The Terminal List Season 2 returns October 21.” The team is clearly holding the rest for later. No footage or cast announcements accompanied the date reveal.

Four years is a long gap between seasons. The announcement generated strong engagement despite carrying no footage or cast news. Fans are paying attention.

Chris Pratt has kept a full schedule on the film side. He reprised his role as Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in 2023 and has stayed active in Hollywood since. But Reece is a different kind of role for him. The role is grounded in real military detail – a far cry from the Marvel universe. That contrast is part of what makes the show stand out.

The Terminal List is based on the bestselling thriller by Jack Carr, a former Navy SEAL. Carr’s novels have reportedly sold millions of copies, and his readership overlaps heavily with the show’s fanbase. Season 2 could draw from Carr’s follow-up novel, True Believer. That book continues Reece’s story. The show hasn’t confirmed its source material for Season 2, but the direction fits.

October 21 drops The Terminal List into a crowded fall streaming window. Streaming competition gets fierce in the fourth quarter. The show’s fanbase has been vocal about wanting a second season since 2022, and the date-only post drew immediate attention. The wait is almost over.

Olivia Munn Says Her Mom Friends Were Right About Postpartum Hair

Olivia Munn Says Her Mom Friends Were Right About Postpartum Hair

Olivia Munn Says Her Mom Friends Were Right About Postpartum Hair

Instagram/@oliviamunn

Olivia Munn’s Instagram caption this week was exactly two sentences long: “Every mom friend told me that after pregnancy your hair will never be the same. They were right.” She added a resigned emoji at the end and left it there.

The post was brief, but it captured something a lot of mothers recognize immediately. Postpartum hair shedding is one of the most common surprises of new parenthood. It gets discussed in mom circles regularly, but it rarely shows up in celebrity conversations.

Here’s how it works. During pregnancy, elevated estrogen keeps more hair in an active growth phase. Hair can look noticeably fuller than usual. After delivery, estrogen drops back down. A significant portion of that retained hair exits the scalp all at once, typically starting around two to four months postpartum. It can be jarring. Preparation only goes so far.

The shedding resolves for most people within a year. The texture and wave pattern, though, can be a different story. Those sometimes shift in ways that stick around. That’s likely the “never be the same” part Munn was pointing to.

For a lot of new mothers, the postpartum period brings adjustments parenting guides don’t cover. The mom network exists largely to fill that gap. Real, specific information gets passed from one person to the next, usually before the moment arrives. Munn’s circle of moms gave her the hair warning. She’s now confirming it for the record.

Munn is no stranger to talking about physical change honestly. In 2023, she went public with a breast cancer diagnosis and then had a double mastectomy. She’s spoken openly about her recovery since then. That track record makes a two-line postpartum hair update feel completely in character for her.

She’s also a working actress with more than two decades of credits, including roles in “The Newsroom,” “X-Men: Apocalypse,” and “Magic Mike.” In recent years, alongside her film and TV work, she’s been more vocal about health and wellness.

What’s genuinely encouraging about this particular post is the mom-friend tribute at the center of it. Munn’s update is a hat tip to those women. They told her what to expect, and she’s confirming they were right.

That’s how this kind of knowledge travels. Postpartum hair changes don’t often make celebrity news, but they affect a huge number of people. Munn put a quiet, honest voice to something worth saying out loud.

Lil Yachty Takes the Director’s Chair on New Ice Spice Visual

Lil Yachty Takes the Director's Chair on New Ice Spice Visual

Instagram/@lilyachty

Lil Yachty announced his new collaboration with Ice Spice on Friday. Buried in the caption was one detail that changed the whole story: he co-directed the music video himself.

The track is called “out of my face.” Ice Spice holds down the lead. Yachty, credited under his alias CONCRETE BOY BOAT^, pulls up on the feature. He dropped the news on Instagram personally, writing: “out of my face by ice spice w/ me out now / directed by me & @amdvisuals.”

That second line is where the real story lives. Yachty didn’t just hop on a feature and bounce. He worked alongside @amdvisuals on the visual direction. That’s a different level of involvement. That’s an artist who wants his fingerprints on the whole thing, not just the audio.

This kind of move lands differently in hip-hop right now. Stepping behind the camera has always been a flex. But Yachty didn’t announce it with fanfare or a press package. He dropped the feature credit and the director credit in the same Instagram caption and kept it moving. That’s confidence.

Yachty’s been in a creatively restless space for a while now. His 2023 album “Let’s Start Here.” was a full genre pivot into psychedelic rock. It genuinely caught people off guard. He’s been leaning into artistic unpredictability ever since. Adding a directorial credit to the board fits that energy perfectly.

The CONCRETE BOY BOAT^ alias is doing real work here too. Yachty has used it consistently to carve out an identity beyond his mainstream rap catalog. Long-time fans know this alias doesn’t get pulled out for just anything. Filing both the feature and the director credit under that name says the whole thing was intentional.

Ice Spice, for her part, keeps running her own lane. She’s been selective with features going back to her breakout. “out of my face” fits that pattern. This wasn’t a throwaway session. A full video dropping on the same day as the audio says both artists were fully invested.

The release skipped the usual machine. No advance single, no press run. Yachty posted on Instagram Friday morning and the internet moved. The announcement crossed 254,000 likes with no prior hype behind it. For a drop that came out of nowhere, that number hits different.

That’s the bet more artists are making in 2026: trust the audience and skip the buildup. Yachty made that bet here and the early returns look good.

This release is worth watching closely. The music is still the foundation, but Yachty is stacking directorial credits now. Directors have long careers. Directors get into rooms rappers don’t. Right now it’s one video. But real pivots always start somewhere.

CONCRETE BOY BOAT^ gave Yachty room to be more than a rapper. This week, he stepped into that room.

“out of my face” is out now.
